The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could be gearing up for a payback plot. Y&R fans know Victor was livid after he realized Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) got drunk and took pills in Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) presence.
Although Jack keeps defending his actions as the only way to get through to Nikki, Victor doesn’t have the same point of view.
It’s true that it woke Nikki up and convinced her that she belonged in rehab, but Victor still feels like Jack put Nikki’s life at risk with his behavior.
That’s why Victor warned Jack never to go near Nikki again, but that warning may not be enough to satisfy Victor now that he’s all riled up.
In the May 7 episode, Jack admitted to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that his ceasefire with Victor never made much sense anyway.
Although Nick hoped Victor’s anger would fade as Nikki recovered, Jack suggested Nick was underestimating Victor’s ability to hold a grudge.
It seems like Jack is already bracing for Victor’s revenge! Jack told Nick that he could handle Victor’s wrath, but should he be so certain about that?
Victor’s vengeance could hit Jack harder than he anticipated depending on what strategy his rival might use.
Since Newman Enterprises and Jabot have definitely gone up against each other in the past, Y&R might have another corporate feud in store.
Maybe vengeful Victor will launch an attack on Jack’s company at some point.
Of course, Victor would have to keep in mind that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) runs Marchetti, which falls under the Jabot umbrella.
However, Victor could undoubtedly make sure whatever Jabot curveball he throws doesn’t affect Marchetti’s success at all.
On the other hand, perhaps Victor could make Summer an offer tempting enough to lure her back to Newman Enterprises.
That would clear a path for Victor to unleash his revenge on Jack and hold nothing back.
Victor might even work to undermine Jack’s marriage to Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), which wouldn’t be too hard now that it’s vulnerable.
Bottom line, Victor is furious with Jack and may take steps to make him pay as a result.
