General Hospital Star Adam Huss Reveals The Emotional Story Behind His Recent Nik-Ava Scene
General Hospital fans were over the moon to have Nik back on the screen. Adam Huss has clearly won over the very loyal and vocal fanbase of the ABC sudser with his portrayal of the Cassadine heir. However, it is true that they don’t get to see him quite as often as they would like.
Despite the limited screen space, Adam Huss, is more than grateful for all the love he constantly receives from General Hospital fans. He recently shared a very special message on his socials to express his love and gratitude to his fans!
“This jailbird is quite moved by all the nice comments and GH fans love today,” he wrote. Furthermore, he expressed that he is immensely passionate about whatever he does. He also pointed to the fans that “your love helps me to keep doing it. Going to bed a grateful guy.”

But that’s not all. The General Hospital actor also recently spoke to Soap Hub about his much talked about scene with Maura est. We recently saw Ava visiting Nik at Pentonville, which came as a total surprise to the fans. Because going by all that has happened between them, it seemed unlikely that she would visit him, especially, with all her Sonny drama right now.
Speaking of the scene, Adam Huss shared that he lost his beloved grandmother a day before he was scheduled to film the scene. He shared that he had just found out about it and wanted to go back home to the EastCoast so badly. Furthermore, he shared that his grandmother loved General Hospital and loved sharing about his part on the soap to her library friends.

Adam shared that thankfully his filming did not clash with his grandmother’s memorial and he was able to attend it. The actor had some great things to say about his scene partner, Maura West. “She couldn’t have been more open, sweet, and kind about my loss,” he pointed.
The General Hospital star shared that, “Maura gave me some moments to share and then, we focused on the work and what we had to do.” And perhaps that comfort reflected on the screen, making it a perfect watch. He even credited Frank Valentini for getting him into the right mood for the scene.
Speaking about his other ventures, Adam shared that he all set to film a new project called – The Wedding Belle. Where he plays assistant to a wedding planner who has sworn off of love. But will that change if sparks fly between them? We’ll have to wait and find out.
