Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Maggie Carney Swoops In As Rita – EJ’s Assistant
Those who tuned into the May 1, 2024, episode of DOOL were treated to an exciting new character, point Days of Our Lives comings and goings. But in case you missed it, here’s the tea! Talented actress Maggie Carney has joined the cast as Rita – EJ’s latest assistant.
She is a sass-packed straight face wisecrack, who left EJ short of words rather quickly, and we are all for it! But then, it seems her tact comes from years of experience, tease Days of Our Lives comings and goings. Turns out, Rita has worked for every DiMera Enterprises bigwig, all the way back to Stefano! Or so she claims!
But then, maybe she is telling the truth, for she summed them all up quite easily in 3 stiff words. And very aptly, might we add! “Arrogant, rude and egotistical.” Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that EJ started off on the wrong foot by being all haughty and overbearing- basically being himself.
But hey, our sassy heroine put up with none of that! She called him right out on his arrogance. And when he tried to tell her that he was paying her better than he was paying his paralegal, she made light of that too! Aaah we are impressed Rita dear! “I’m sure your actual paralegal is thrilled about that,” she scoffed nonchalantly, recall Days of Our Lives comings and goings.
Oh what a delight Maggie Carney was as Rita on the May 1, 2024, episode. We wholeheartedly hope that this is not the first and the last we have seen of her. Rita surely lit up the seen, and we’d love to see her verbally spar with EJ some more!
